What if Jordan was never cut from his HS team?

Would he still have the same drive and determination if he got it right the first try?

I think he would be a different player

What if Iverson played football instead of basketball. He said if he didn't catch that case when he was 17, he would've went to Notre Dame

He didn't get cut...he just didnt' make varsity as a sophomore. A better question is what if Jordan ends up the same height as his brother? Still would have that same drive and determination and skills, maybe even more but at 5'8, 5'9.

You know what I meant though. In Jordan's eyes he was cut because he was trying to make varsity. So if Jordan makes varsity as a sophomore does he go on to become The GOAT he is today?

And if Jordan stopped growing at 5'9 he'd still be the greatest of all time with his mentality. His game would probably be way different playing PG though

There is a huge difference between being cut and not making varsity as an underclassman...especially 40 years ago.

I don't care what mentality he has, ain't no 5'9 player gonna be the GOAT breh. Jordan's mentality was certainly important but his physical gifts were as well. You take either one away and you are taking away part of what made him what he was.

1. CP3 would be taking all the blame for the Lakers nadir.
2. 35000+ points, 0 rings (unless he leaves which is pretty likely)
3. LaMarcus stays and is mad as hell about it right now.
4. Not sure why this is listed. It was never a realistic possibility.
5. Him and Love lead to them to 50 wins and a 1st round exit every year.
