You cat's really love to rob words of their actual meaning.

What's wrong with Emily's list?
Nothing's wrong with Emily's list. The issue is you can be conservative on every other issue and they'll give you support. Which can sometimes conflict with the fight for other Women's rights like equal pay, paid leave, and LGBT shyt.

So the article includes this bit as what makes them progressive
Both are staunchly pro-choice and pro–Planned Parenthood funding, favor gun-safety reforms and protections for DACA youth as well as comprehensive immigration reform. Whitmer supports a $15 minimum wage.

I'm all for all of this...but pro-choice, planned parenthood and gun safety reform are all fairly standard throughout the majority of the party. Immigration reform sounds good but protecting the Dreamers is a no brainer (and one that I feel like current leadership has dropped the ball on so it'll take more than words on this specific issue for me personally) and $15 minimum wage is a nice one for Whitmer. But it's fairly obvious to anyone paying attention that there is plenty to the left of that...hence centrist or center-left as a description. They're to the left of damn near everyone from 2016 except Bernie, which is good, but I'ma keep calling them centrist while there are strong policy ideas to the left of these people's proposals. It's beneficial anyway; the more we acknowledge leftwing ideas as reasonable and worth discussion as opposed to radical...the more we force the right to acknowledge how far they are policy-wise from the center. Reframe the whole damned conversation.

It's not beneficial because idiots turn around and not vote for them because they think they are centrist -- like Manchin.

That said, it's better to just go to their pages and listen to them speak on their platform. Then we can make an accurate statement on where they fall on the liberal spectrum.

Sounds like you're being a sexist a$$hole unless you can back that up, Comrade.
Back what up? Emily's list supports pro-choice women. Brent Welder had no shot of getting their endorsement because of that narrow mission. The end.
If there is a lie or something sexist in there please point it out. :stopitslime:
