Having a penis...

I don't believe in gender archetypes...I don't think a man SHOULD BE...

I think certain things people subscribe to masculinity...is just being a responsible pro-social human being...

I can't answer this question without you first defining what masculinity is.

mas·cu·lin·i·ty
ˌmaskyəˈlinədē/
noun
  1. possession of the qualities traditionally associated with men.
"handsome, muscled, and driven, he's a prime example of masculinity"
    synonyms: virility, manliness, maleness, machismo, vigor, strength, muscularity, ruggedness, robustness;
    informal testosterone
    "he's the picture of masculinity"

    There you go :lupe:

possession of the qualities traditionally associated with men.

this is pretty much a non-definition.

Since this is a "non definition" the logical implication would be that there is a non non-definition that I'm sure you could define for me. :lupe:
:mjlol: Or is it a non definition because it doesn't fit your agenda?

It's a non-definition because it doesn't really tell you anything,

"possession of the qualities traditionally associated with men."

what are the qualities "traditionally" associated with men? This definition certainly doesn't give any clues because it's a useless definition for a word that doesn't really mean anything.

You can't even acknowledge that there are certain qualities traditionally associated with men :russ:

I'm more than willing to acknowledge these qualities but you've made zero effort to tell us what any of these qualities are.

If you have an iota of perceptive ability I wouldn't have to tell you what they are. Besides, I've already outline lined them in previous threads and don't feel the need to rehash them here.

I see that you are hinting at the notion that masculinity is a social construct and that people are only "masculine or feminine acting"

But let me ask you this do you believe in evolutionary biology?

Just have a look at this thread and the responses.

people are saying the being a man means "handling your responsibilities", I thought that was what being an adult was.
