Like seriously, alot of Black people are OBSESSED

This is the main reason this Black Lives Matter movement is going strong

The Black Lives Live Matter movement should be called White acceptance. Look at the many ways

- Marching
- Protesting at the White House
- Athletes at the ESPYs giving protest speeches
- Black TV analysts going on News networks trying to convince white hosts about racism

It's like Black people have this undying wish for White compassion. Wishing for someday for white people to feel love for them. For white people to one day think of them as equals. It's kind of sad to me in a way

It's like most Black people have never opened up a book on White history and never saw the destruction and evilness they have done to us. It's like a woman who is in an abusive relationship with a man who beat and tried to kill her, but keeps coming back thinking there's hope for a change :wtf:

Just look at this photo

ap_2016_espy_awards_-_show_83320786.jpg

It's a child pleading to their father like "Please daddy, stop beating me. Are you saying you don't love me any more?"

You keep seeing historical eras from the 60s, to the Jim Crow era, to the late 1800s Imperialism era in Africa. to the Slavery era, to the 1400s when Europeans came to destroy Afrifca, the Crusades, etc etc... The history is well documented. Stop trying to convince them. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU

And I truly think Black people are actually halting their own progress for white acceptance
Instead of Segregating. Not necessarily moving. But segregating from buying from white businesses completely, only buying from black businesses, make more and only support black record labels, create our own sports league, create a black City Bus system, black people all acquiring gun licenses/permits, etc etc

But I guess protesting is a much better option :mindblown:

This generation is in love with the MLK ideology that peaceful protesting actually does something. Even back then we were still getting assaulted and abused while peacefully protesting just to have equal rights.White people have shown you over and over that they don't give a fukk about anyone but we still going out there thinking that if we annoy them enough they'll change. They'll just spin it into you being the bad guy like how they're trying to say BLM is a hate group and the Black Panther Party was on the same level as the KKK.

Why are we as a culture so much more focused on attacking each other's ways to get to the same goal?

I've seen 10 times as many threads attacking other black solutions than I've seen about developing solutions to the problems.

But when you ain't about that action that's always your reaction.

because the truth of the matter is you have to appeal to people's humanity (white or any other) otherwise you'll just have to fight them if you're at an impasse. america's problem is that we have racial issues and we've been stuck together since the beginning of this country. other countries have racial issues as well but their populations are predominately made up of the majority, so even if they have issues, they don't live right down the street from each other. that's why america is so childish and underdeveloped socially, imho. they have the opportunity to advance based on the landscape yet they keep on promoting outdated and obsolete ideals from the past

Exactly. Black athletes should do their part. Black businesspersons and entrepreneurs should do their part. And all black consumers should do their part via group economics. I may not always agree with the exact methods but I will never discourage those fighting for the progression and empowerment of our race.

At the beginning of mean streets
I think it's because the system pacifies us and people are scared. They're treading a thin line where they want to say something and speak out but they also aren't willing to risk their lives. I brought this point up a while ago but the price you pay for this is ultimately death. That's why people died for freedoms. It's a scary thought. I just think you should keep quiet if you're only treading the line and are scared of back lash. Be bold or don't at all.
