ACC has been down for the past five years at least...even the coaches admit that. The ACC will reemerge this year...I think,

yet, in the last 5 years, they've won 2 chips (duke, unc)....wanna go back further since you said 'at least'? since 2000, they've won 5 chips (2 duke & unc each, 1 for Maryland)....in the same span, let's see: big east - 4; sec - 3; big 12 - 1; big 10 - 1.....dont make me go back further, yall dont want that lol...that's how you know you running shyt...even when you win the most chips in a time frame, just cause the conference aint dominating the headlines nor clearly head/shoulders above everybody like previously, it's called being 'down'....hell, it wasn't until a couple years ago (bout 5-7) that they finally had their streak of having a team in the final four broken...that's dominance...

that's why when I talk basketball with football people that dont really watch it, I tell them the sec is the acc of football...if they keep doing the shyt they do for the next 10-15 years....

Look at the 14, 15, 16 and tell me what region of America is producing all the top end talent.

B1G also adds Maryland, which is huge since they have a top 10 class coming in.

lol no the hell they don't...they tend to get tougher brackets....the last couple times they've won it, they had the toughest bracket in the field to some people...I know unc did the year they won it with Lawson...they had to go through 3 conference champs to get to the final four if I recall...I know they had to play OU with blake...

as for whose producing the the top end talent: that shyt don't matter...it's where that talent goes...and the acc gets that talent....one of the big compliments a lot of players get that don't go to the acc: he's an acc caliber player/talent...that's how you know they running shyt...

now I will admit, the acc isn't getting all the talent like they once did...i'd say that's cause of media exposure now...you don't necessarily have to go to a big school/conference anymore to get looked at....if you a top talent, you can go anywhere, ball, and bounce cause you will get noticed....

The difference between SEC football and ACC basketball is if you remove bama and lsu,its still in the running for the top spot. ACC bball cant say that if you take their top two. Also we're discussing this year. No need to go back to 2000. I could rock with a couple years back but not 13 breh:pachaha:

yea, that shyt gonna be serious...if you a recruit, i'd def consider an acc school....talk about being battle tested after going through a season in that conference....

it's gonna be fun though to see cuse, pitt, Louisville, and nd get welcomed to the conference...they think they gonna come with a good chance to run shyt, especially cuse; they in for a rude awakening...

Nicca, NC State just lost to a Cincy team that NC Central gave more problems to... (takes time to get that chemistry tho, I know) ...the traditional ACC has been top heavy with two teams for years...with the additions, yes, the the "Big ACC East" has been gifted.

Still :to: at the old Big East being done...

lol at the chemistry...it was only a matter of time before central made the leap up in levels...i'm proud cause their campus is booming, a good medical and a great law programs...athletic wise, the best game you'll get there still is when unc/duke meet there during the summer lol...

back to the topic: that being a couple teams top heavy just started with the acc a couple years ago....that's why they were so dominant...the whole conference was good...I can admit, that the lower teams in the acc suck, that's why the whose better convo has gotten good...but i'll still take the acc...

yea, it sucks the old big east is done...all cause of money, yet they really care about the 'student' athlete...
