My favorite Common album is LWFC. That album is so versatile. That's what I love the most about that album. It has it all.

i really liked "one day.."when it came out...
same w/be, both hit me right away like it wasn't comin out the player anytime soon.
it's a rarity if albums get constant spin right off the bat and for a good period.

I'm a big Common fan and all, but am I the only one who feels that Ressurection is very overrated?

My favorite albums by Com are The Dreamer, Be, LWFC, Finding Forever, and ODIAMS

and I used to bump UMC like crazy when it dropped

Punch Drunk Love, Make My Day, Announcement, Gladiator, and Inhale all get burn to this day

Resurrection no question

LWFC, BE, One Day It Will All Make Sense, The Dreamer/The Believer were good/great albums in their own right

Can I Borrow a Dollar was not the greatest album but I think played Breaker 1/9 more than any other common song in his discography. i'm a sucker for the Between the Sheets sample

But when common feels experimental he gets too experimental - UMC and Electric Circus I hated when they both came out. I'll have to revisit electric circus it has been 9 years since i listened to that album. See if my opinion on that one still stands.

The lyricism on Resurrection was virtuosic. To me only illmatic and maybe a few others are parallel in lyrical excellence.
