Yeah, it's the Summer League, etc. But it's the most recent video of him available.
But clearly the kid can play, and run the point.
How good could he be in 2-3 years?
Who knows.
An elite PG?
Maybe, maybe not.

It's kind of moot to talk about ceilings and floors. He's drafted.
He could get traded or dropped in the future. A lot depends on how the coach molds Exum into his game philosophy. 2 to 3 years from now, he could become a wash and be playing in an Italian pro league or accept second string status. He could become an elite star. He could be so-so but then get traded and his potential might get tapped in after a trade with a different coach.

was curious to see the cat play, and dude is nice...his ceiling is the sky...that cat plays like a pg first and foremost, and that needs to be used to the fullest...the times i've seen him, he was passing up shots to setup his teammates....but I think him being in Utah is gonna end up hindering his game cause they gonna try to turn him into a sg....but after a year or 2, wouldn't surprise me if Utah trades burke and gives exum the keys...

Dude should not, and I repeat, should not be playing PG. He could end up the best SG in the league in a few years cause of his handle, ability to attack and finish, and his playmaking. He gets to the basket so easily and is a great finisher already. Him and Trey Burke may tear the league up next year, I just fukkin hate Utah smh.

He's a pure point. He also doesn't care much for scoring, his natural position is the point guard position. Natural passers should be point guards, Burke on the other hand could play SG though.

From what I've seen from him he has a better natural PG skill set than Tre did coming out of Michigan. which is why I was pissed when Utah drafted him.

He has equal or better handles, is a more natural and WILLING passer and his height allows him to see the floor better than Tre ever could.

Just cause a player is over 6'5 don't mean they should automatically be moved to SG.

And you dont have to bring the ball up the court to be the primary playmaker either :manny:. I think playing the SG will maximize his abilities, that boy P&R game looks young Wade like and I think its best for him to play the SG to get the best of both worlds from him.

But to be the SG means that you would rather see him score in spot-up, iso and screen scenarios rather than running the offense which isn't what he should be used for. Doesn't need to play the 2 to run the P&R, and running it from the top of the key will generate more offense anyway

Well don't forget that Utah actually wanted Jabari, they was trying to trade up for the top pick in the draft for quite awhile and it didn't happen. So they probably took the best player they could as consolation and decided to tank again.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Why are some of you so interested in turning him into an SG?

He has a natural PG type skill set.

The disregard and disrespect of the PG position on the Coli is something I don't understand, y'all Nikkas woulda been saying Magic needs to move to the 2 back in the day.

Because in international play he's shown an elite ability to score when that's what his team needed from him. The SG spot is extremely weak right now and having a talent like Exum at the 2 could be huge for his team. I want a player like him to attack and keep the defense on their toes :yeshrug:

Look at LeBron, he played PG fulltime for the first half of his rookie season, when he started attacking more his season really took off.

Bron still played Point Foward for the majority of his career.

And I think the same is true for Exum in a sense that they can call him whatever ( Point 2, combo guard) his teams offense will run best when he brings the ball up and initiates.

Natural skills are natural skills and I think he will simply be better then Burke at doing that.
