What is it about Diddy's voice and delivery that ALWAYS sounds off?

i was just thinking this not too long ago when listening to World Is Filled.
thats actually my favorite verse of his but when i listen to i just think what if it was Ma$e spitting that verse.

his timing is slightly off and his infliction or the emphasis he puts on certain words is off sometimes.The people who write for him don't seem to actually adapt it to his cadence and voice.

The only time i really thought Dre rapping was dope was on 2001. he really sounded comfortable with the flow and voice on there. not to say he hasn't had decent performances before that but 2001 was him at his best on the mic i think they really coached him heavy in the booth. the stuff he did with nas was decent but it didn't feel as natural.

i honestly can't even remember a dope Puffy performance off the top of my head.
