Don't disrespect 'Twan like that.

No disrespect. Twan is my nikka, even if we shoulda win that chip in 98. I meant that neither one really projected as a PF in the league, but their main success in college came from the post or interior. Twan started to put up numbers in the league once he showed he could face nikkas up, which is what McAdoo will have to do as well. Other than that, to me there is no comparison.

bruh mcaddo would be the number 1 pick far and away if he was close to wan
Twan could face up from the get go..That nikka had two back to back 50 point games in THE LEAGUE..in his second or third year (i forget) as a stretch 4...

Mcaddoo could never hope to even get close to 50 in a college game let alone score 50 points in 5 NBA games at his current skill level :deadrose:

You getting it twisted. I ain't say that McAdoo was anywhere close to being LIKE Twan, PLAY wise. I said that like Twan, McAdoo is a 4 whose size and skill (quickness, athleticism) set projects to the 3. I agree wholeheartedly that he'd have to develop a lot like Twan did to even get to the point that Twan was already at. A LOT. Twan showed he had a nice stretch game when he got to the league. I don't remember him shooting many threes or long jumpers while at UNC.

I don't even have that much hope of McAdoo making that kind of progress though. I see him winding up in Europe after he finishes that first NBA contract. :manny:

honestly not sure...I thought he was the 3rd best player in that class behind Ant/MKG... Roy held him back last year and this year he has played with a raw freshman pg and with a ton of expectations

i think there is a chance he comes back and beasts on a title contender

He will definitely not get drafted for his offensive game. He has quick feet for a player his size, athletic, hustles, and most importantly coachable. He seems like the type of player that will accept any role the coach gives him. He is big and quick enough to at least guard players like Lebron, Melo, and Paul George on the wing. He is not going to turn anybody's franchise around immediately, but he'll be an asset to whatever team that drafts him.

If he has to come back for his junior year than that should show us what kind of prospect he really is. He gonna mess around and play himself out of that first round if he keeps showing these Gm's all of his flaws. It has happened many times before. But maybe he'll come back next year with a more experienced team next year and shine.

He's athletic & a decent rebounder. His mid range jumper sucks though & he can be really soft at times. Tries to shoot too many jumpers too & is a tweener.

He needs another year. He'll stay if he's smart.

he's gone. id rather brice and hub get the minutes and develop so they can really help in a year. both those dudes already have a better back to the basket game than him. he's just quicker, but against players w/ size he's a shrinky dink.
