They need time, energy, activities, knowledge,food, love, unselfishness & truth. If you are a lazy person you will need a spouse who is the opposite.

all true, my daughters mother was lazy and only really out for herself even after our daughter was born and I wasn't much better. (although I've never been lazy)

they have a way of changing you though, obviously not with everyone considering the amount of downright pathetic parents out there but if you have it in you it's having a kid that will bring it out.

I would never say a bad word about her mother now, I'm literally in awe of how far she's come and never would have believed it would happen before. I feel the same way about myself

I'm pretty sure it's the most fulfilling thing you can do in life but not everybody has it in them.

It's great. Today my son turned 3 months. As I type this, he's sitting in my lap.

I will say, it's been an adjustment to both me and my wife's lives. We were prepared and it helped that he was planned.

His exact words "I got to work on my hands " jab was had me like this lil nikka athletic as fukk. Took him to the park. This lil guy started doing chin ups and upside down sit ups on the monkey bars for some lil chicks .

It really depends on the day. Sometimes you have days when you wish you never had children and other times you're so happy you can't put it into words. The finances are always an issue but learning to budget helps tremendously. It's really a matter of determining a price that's not ridiculous, so you have to set certain boundaries around things. Like i wouldn't pay $100 for some jeans for my kid or $400 for a sport program when I know i can get something more reasonable.

You really don't get a lot of time to yourself anymore so you learn to value time alone but you also learn to value time with them as well. Like you change completely from your non kid self and it's up to you if it's a good change or bad on. It's an experience either way.
