A 6'6" Jrue Holiday is a damn good player though :ld:

His ceiling is completely dependent on whether or not he can fix his shot, those UCLA shooting numbers were clearly inflated by the ball they used.
The line is closer in college and do think that is playing a factor. Line is further out now with monster 6’8+ defenders closing in on an awkward release that he has to completely set for is a recipe for disaster.

All in all I do hope he turns it around. All that damn pressure is tough. It’s one thing to stink it up on the cavs or bobcats, but the lakers?

He has talent and a great feel for the game, but the shot is an issue now, he can't shoot it going to his right which makes him a one direction player.

He's going to have to correct these things, and it may get worse before it gets better. His game is completely reliant on whether or not he's making the three, he has to fix the shot.

Nah, the thing is there were some stats that showed his shooting numbers were inflated big time because of the ball UCLA used during home games, it had more grip which helped him get more rotation on his shot and a better feel of the ball. On the road he was a 34% three point shooter when the opponents used a less grippy ball that is more in line with the NBA spalding.

He's gonna have to change his shot during the summer.

Meh... 133 shot attempts versus 44 attempts

He'll get better with time ...

I believe he will be a good player once he gets an NBA body. He's as frail as a high school kid that's why he has no confidence driving.

Once he has that I believe he can have a big impact on the game being a 6'7 PG. the size can make up for him not being explosive once he gets stronger.
That and his jumper will determine if he's a mid level star or just a role player.

Even with his potential I wouldn't have drafted him #2 though :hubie:

Lavar finessed magic and it's not a good look.

Post injury Shawn Livingston
post injury shawn livingston lives and lived off contested midrange shots ...going left or right...over the left and right shoulder.
that nikka cannot pull that shyt off with his current form...especially going right :francis:

he also barely ran pnr in college....which hid the fact that his options in the midrange in his arsenal was limited as fukk
trying to be an elite guard in this league without being great in the PNR as a weapon is practically impossible
nikka would rather throw up a 16 foot floater than pullup going right :francis:

unless you steph curry dont do that shyt

gotta change that shot, gotta rev up his motor, needs to becomes a dog on defense. if all those things happen he could be better than prime Rondo....which I thought was a VERY good and underrated player. but he is more popular than Rondo already so he would actually get some All Star appearances.
