This is what I've always thought of as a natural scorer. Somebody who you can just give the ball to anywhere and they can go get you buckets. They may have certain areas of the game where they are better at scoring but in reality they can get you buckets from anywhere. Another trait of it is you don't necessarily know how they're going to attack you on offense because they have so many ways of scoring.
A thing I think separates a Lebron (whose a smart scorer who mostly sticks to his offensive strengths since you can't stop it) versus a Durant, Melo, prime Kobe.
Griffin does both.
How can you say he isn't a natural scorer, when you keep changing the criteria on what a natural scorer is.Blake is not a natural scorer. @KOBE is confused like u![]()

Average 25ppg over 13 seasons and be the youngest to 25k and have a scoring title and finish top 10 in scoring yearly...but dont have a scoring mentalitylooks like people are confused with having a "scoring mentality" and being a "natural scorer".
natural scorers can score with easy in a multitude of ways and make it look easy regardless of what the defense is doing.
a scoring mentality is aggressively attacking the defense to put up point as that's what you think your view is on the offense.
players that have a scoring mentality aren't always natural scorers(kemba) and natural scorers always don't have a scoring mentality(lebron).
Yes. Watch Pierce's footwork. Watch his ability to use leverage to create angles and space. You can't be unathletic to execute the moves he used to make and sometimes still does.
