matter fact ross most authentic cd to me is still Port of Miami....but as far as tellin stories about the good and the bad, ross dont do that bruh,and i aint even necessarily talkin bout 1 complete song, im talkin bout PERIOD. When you listen to Jay,T.I.,Boosie,B.G.,Jeezy, you can tell they know what they talkin bout in they lyrics and they make u relate and feel it, they put you in there shoes. Ross dont do that homie. Jayz mentions his homies that got locked up or situations he was involved in and how it was for him hustlin, jeezy mentions mailman and gold mouth that was locked up over dope, T.I. tells you stories bout how he got knocked wit pounds and guns in the car at 15, or how it was for him coming up and homies that got killed,they give you PERSONAL situations in they music..Ross dont really give his fans that and thats why FOR ME, his music is just good for the moment and its nt many of his songs that i go back and listen to, cause once again he dont connect WITH ME. maybe what ross says connect wit you and thats coo.

music is subjective of course, i could care less if people complained about the same things with the artists i just named, because its their Opinion and i aint finna argue wit another persons personal preference. I never said i dont like Ross, i got all Ross cds, so you dont have to name songs as examples bcse I listen to Ross. THe thread asked what is Ross LACKING, and i spoke on it. I would have to be a ross listener in order to know what he is lacking. I aint a ross hater either thats finna call him fake for bein a CO. I feel ross puts together some nice albums and picks the best music to rap to. But, my personal opinion is that alot of ross music is empty, aint no real connection TO ME.Im not no stan or a full fledged fan because for me to be a FAN, i gotta know who you are in ya music, i want you to touch on some personal situations, every TOP TIER artist is vulnerable enough with their fans to give them the good moments and bad moments of whats happening RIGHT NOW in their life and to me ross dont speak on that often, he might drop a line every blue moon.Every rapper has their FLAWS that they could improve on and since this thread is bout Ross im just naming his since i listen to dudes music and would like to see him improve and touch on different subject matter and grow as an artist. Only thing growing about ross from album to album his his beats and maybe his raps, other than that its all the same ol same ol and flow never changes.i think bruh could go a lil deeper thats all. and far as the artists i named they LACK things as well. I feel Tip can start rapping on better beats instead of beats that sound like he made them in 2007-08, i feel jeezy could use more vocab. And Tip one of my fav artists, but i aint no fanboy that agree wit everything my fav artists does. I just like people i listen to to improve, no artist is perfect, everyone is lacking at something.
