What is wrong with enjoying what you have and not wanting more?
What is wrong with being okay with your current salary?
What is wrong with being okay with your current car?
What is wrong with not wanting another/better job?
Why are you close minded if you don't want to travel?
Why are you considered to lack ambition because you don't want to run an endless race?

Just curious

Contentment is the currency of the past. You can only get by on it if the world you occupy remains the same and never changes.
I beg to differ because you can find contentment at any moment for any reason, doesn’t have to be because of past actions...

It depends on what you are content with (i.e mcdonalds dishwasher/94 geo prizm at 32)

In my opinion you should always want more/better. It also has a lot to do with who you're close to and how well they are doing. This shouldnt equate to your happiness tho.

Imho, i dont think it's natural/normal to NOT want more. People with money eventually replace power with currency.

Works for some but not for me. No hate.

Complacency is close to death for me.:francis:

No thread jack: No jealousy but what does get me is when people are complacent and don't try but shyt falls in their lap.:why:
If shyt "always" falls in their lap, then they are doing something right. You just think they are complacent. For some reason ppl think shyt always "falls" l in my lap, but i work ot to get what i want. I just don't have friends and acquaintances in my business.

On another note, i feel for the ppl that go hard but shyt never seems to go their way...but life is a marathon, so never give up

I'm in agreeance with you that people don't know the struggle behind the scenes that leads to shyt falling in their lap. I do know folks where good things happen with no help of their own. I gotta be genuinely happy for them tho.

As for your latter comment, that shyt is the worst. I always remember: "Making mistakes is proof that you are trying..."

Life lessons.:wow:
