Because of racism of racism and denial of access to public beaches and community pools...before that we(multigenerational Americans classified as Black) swam, more than Whites.

Swim
I can float and swim underwater
I probably could swim if I had to.. but I'm not willing to find out in deep water

Drive Stick shift
Never knew anyone who owned a stick
I get the concept though

Cook
I can cook a few things but I don't have the confidence to cook for someone else (outside of some Chicken Alfredo, Spaghetti type dish) so I'd rather not
I also hate cooking so it's much easier to say I can't cook that way I never get asked to cook

I can't swim, i just could never get the hang of it.
Whistle, I used do it. But now I struggle to, it's weird.
