Last week y’all were saying trade Kyrie and Hayward cause Rozier was taking Boston to the Finals after the first two games

Never doubt the King :lawd:

Last week y'all said Celtics should trade Kyrie

It's always big talk until The King brings reality back to their frontal cortex lol

:lolbron: has started roughly the same number of playoff games as Brown Rozier and Tatum have started in their whole NBA careers.

:why:

He's 23/24, going up against one of the greatest players in NBA history that is also one of the greatest game 7 performers in NBA history...and it's his first ECF game 7 EVER.

Forget the stress and pain of going through an entire NBA season at his age and level but you're adding a post season to that too?

Dude had a bad game, in one of the most stressful situations you could be dealing with. Shots just weren't falling, which happens to young players.

He stayed aggressive, he was getting penetration, and getting good looks that just weren't falling. He played great defense on everyone not named Lebron James and he wasn't scared of the moment. That's the kinda dog you want on your team. He needs consistency and structure. He's shown to be a starter level talent on an ECF team and you could possibly have him coming off the bench against other squad's second units. His confidence is great because he doesn't need easy, open rhythm shots to find his aggressive motor.

You know how many FRANCHISES have wilted under the pressure of Lebron James in the post season?
Let me hate breh. That loss is bothering me.

I dont think the celtics should make any trades next year. They clearly have a championship caliber team o their hands. Let it play out at least one season.

Agreed

As I said in the Cavaliers-Celtics ECF thread, this was a "live and learn" postseason for the Celtics, and it was impressive how far they made it, battling in a full seven game series against one of the greatest players in NBA history, without their top two players. :salute:

I'd trade Reggie Jackson and Blake Griffin for him.:ehh:

Salaries obviously don't match I just want those two off my team.

Hopefully they trade Blake for Melo with the agreement to buy him out.

Worst contract in the NBA.

I'd be extraordinarily hesitant to give a guy who had 3 knee surgeries 200 million. I'm not saying Rozier's the long term answer for the C's but the best ability is always availability.

It shouldn't. This is pretty much the best loss that could possibly happen. As good as y'all are, your team needs these losses to learn how to win when shyt is ugly. Pretty much every superstar team has to deal with adversity to grow into championship contenders.

You learned that Tatum is, quite possibly, your 2nd best option offensively and capable of shoulder the load as a first option against any team in the NBA. He showed out against Philly and the Cavs. He was the best player on your team, in a game 7 against Lebron James.

Kyrie is probably salivating. Jaylen Brown, as a 4th option and able to be switch on 1-4 defensively?

Could you imagine having to guard that? The size and length alone makes that a nightmare matchup. You can't have a weak defender...ANYWHERE.

You have to put the best defender on your team on Kyrie, bar none. You can't put anyone less than 6'6 on Tatum. So you can't switch small PGs on him. You gotta leave with your weakest defender guarding either Hayward, Morris, or Jaylen. Imagine Reddikk or Bellinelli trying to hide on those guys.

Be happy. Your future is bright.
