I don't think many ancient peoples spent much time hunting tigers and other top-predators. although I'm sure there was plenty occasion to defend yourself from such a beast

. but hunting these apex predators was often considered a sign of manhood or a requirement for ascenscion to a position of power. thats why pelts from some e of these animals is so prized and theyve been hunted to near extinction. its estimated that 80% of tiger deaths are caused by humans. it makes me wonder if our grandchildren will see any 
status. we have the ability to change tactics generationally without modification of genetics and in this world its equivalent to Aimbot in Counterstrike.
this is a very suspicious oversimplification. humans hunt in the jungle too.. they do it through coordination there too. and my point isn't just about the hunt but also about the way coordination supports the hunting functions by people specializing in different things
