What is the best Kung Fu movie ever made?

It's not a Kung Fu movie, but I finally watched The Seven Samurai (1954) after 4 tries. I was just so bored and I would quit watching after 10-15 mins.

Honestly this movie was way too long and in 2025, it doesn't look all that great. But it did inspire a lot of good movies after it so I admit it is historically significant.

I wouldn't recommend it to 99% of people though.
But I'm kind of in a mood to watch more good Japanese movies. Not necessarily Kung Fu.

Anyway I do hope this thread helps people add things to their watch list.

The first time I saw Fist of Legend, it was on Fox 5 on a weekend at like 2pm or something.

Regular TV used to show great movies out of nowhere.

Nowadays you put on the TV and it's either the news, some stupid fake Judge show, or infomercials.
