Can an ipad download a movie or album via torrent or direct link and watch/listen to it right there?

Why would I ever do any of that on a tablet? I got a netbook and PC for that. My tablet is bed use for web surfing, apps, and YouTube. I don't even do that stuff on my Nexus.

Why in the hell would you not want that? So many times when I'm traveling and see an album just drop, movie just rip, I want the luxury to at least be able to get it right there instead of having to wait until I get to a PC or netbook.
