Okada vs Cena at MSG is my answer. I think things are so segmented and wrestling is so niche these days it's hard creating a money match to capture casuals. But to grab neck beards is probably the better way to go especially with increased ticket prices and companies willing to pay for content.A All together super show with one big name could do some business.

Lashley vs Lesnar is the only one I can think of that would bring in the casuals. Why they never pulled the trigger on it is :mindblown:

Both have the amateur wrestling/mma credentials. It may not be Hoegan vs Warrior or Rock vs Austin but it’s damn close.
Lashley is not big enough to even say “damn close”

Again, y’all are confusing guys who you think should/could be pushed or who the smarks like and thinking it qualifies as “biggest match RIGHT NOW” when it doesn’t.

No knock on Lashley, not his fault he hasn’t been booked consistently. But there’s no world “RIGHT NOW” where a Bobby Lashley match can be considered “biggest match the WWE can have”.

Like @sbud said, it’s sad but the only answer for “biggest match” has to involve part time stars like Rock, Cena, Brock, and maybe a miracle get like Stone Cold returning. And Roman and Daniel Bryan are maybe the two only current stars right now who casuals know and that’s a strong maybe. Becky and Sasha if we’re talking the women’s side.

Becky and Sasha happened more times than you can count on two hands and Roman and Daniel Bryan literally just headlined the last PPV

Which goes back to the point that WWE doesn’t book enough stars.

But, Austin and Rock fought a ton of times and no one cared how many times. Sometimes your star appeal is so big people will always want to see the match.

Roman and Brock has happened a lot but the way they are booking Roman right now, people would be the most in tuned for a Roman/Brock match than they’ve ever been. Why? Because WWE is finally correctly booking Roman how he has to be. It’s like they almost forgot just because you book someone in a heel role it doesn’t mean they lose their star appeal.

Maybe if it never happened before but at this point I highly doubt it
