When I worked at Mickey Ds back in the day management told us to limit the sauce we gave customers because we didn’t want to run out and order more. I didn’t give a fukk, why would I at 17 making $6.50 an hour?
They didn't make money giving you sauce not hard to figure out

i used to go through this with captain ds tarter sauce but now they let you order additional qts. for extra 35 centsI almost need a qt. for each peice of that battered crack fish

It's bc you want 5 sauces and the 50 people before you wanted 5 and the 100 after you want 5. Thats 750 sauces. They probably don't have that much. You would be heated if they ran out. That and sometimes nikka don't feel like restocking that shyt till the end of the shift.

Then they gotta tax you on something else. Look at chick fil a. Almost all the sauce you want but $5 for a plain ass chicken sandwich that probably cost them $1.50 total. You want cheese? $1. Bacon? $2 but take all the sauce you want tho
