I agree with this one. There had never been any type of show like "24" before it arrived, and it was non-stop nail-biter. You could not go into your job without people talking about what happened and what it would mean for Jack next week. I think a lot of it was the show came out before online streaming and in that first seaons it always ended on a cliff-hanger.

I would also nominate X-Files Season 3.
