Ni no Kuni
As a Max Payne stan this game fell short for the direction they took Max in storywise, that alot of people didn't agree with and they pretty much stripped it of any humour and and witty dialogue the first two had, thanks to Remedy. The mechanics were on point but the soul of this franchise was missing from this nice to look at but in my opinion, inferior title in the series.
Tried to get into it many times but always grew bored with it. It's weird, the game has high production value but I always found the game play stale and lifeless... which brings me to...

This game got shyt on unnecessarily. Yeah it could of used a ton more polishing but it was fun with a very gritty and violent story.
Can you play it on ps vita or ps4? If either imma cop

The last game I followed and got SOO hyped for, only to see it fall short in it's promises and ultimately offer you a bittersweet gaming experience (That worked quite well in the first 2/3rd's of it) As far as gameplay and set pieces go, this game was damned good and the story was compelling enough up until when shyt just FAST FORWARDED to that one part...you played it...you know what I'm talking about. "AAAH fukk AAAAH fukk! MY EARS ARE BLEEDING!!!!"
One minute you're running down the Tokoyo streets (Was it Tokyo been so long..) evading cops and the next minute you're in Columbia or some shyt fighting a civil war with little to no segue or explanation.Alot of people didn't give it the time of day it needed, but this game's end level just ripped asunder what momentum it had in my opinion....love the characters/story and honestly wish they made it, with you being able to choose either character, Kane having to interact with Lynch and note his moods/demeanor, keep him calm and let him make certain decisions that affect his mental health. I think half way through production they said
"fukk it..ship this shyt." And the end result was a game where you had to BEG Npc brehs to revive you and they said "fukk you, I'm busy" while being DIRECTLY next to you in cover.
You played the second one?![]()
Couldn't pull the gun on the sequel even at $4.99. I was very hype for the follow up but was turned off immensely by the super cheap AI.
This shyt is classic.
