The snare/claps?

Most of that style came from synths where you'd have to program the patches to create your own flex. R Les was on it back then as well:

Linn drums were the 80s but a lot of them are still used with other samples thrown in:

Put it together and you've got:

Haven't for a minute but I'm not a stranger to the studio. Really dig this style of production though as its so crisp with a lot of swing that always gets you moving.
Whatever happend to Danjah....after he gave Timbo that extra sauce to extend his run it's like he disappeared. If you got anything out on youtube from when you used to produced, would like to check them out let me know.

We don't hear about Danja because his sound is missing that balance he had with Timbaland. A lot of folks claimed Danja was doing all the work, but when you read Danja talk about HIS contributions to the songs he co-produced with Timbaland, he didn't do as much as what people tried to credit him with. Even if we took something like Britney's "Gimme More", which is ALL Danja, it pales in comparison to what he and Timbaland was doing on Nelly's Loose, Justin's Futuresex/Lovesounds, and Tim's own Shock Value.

When they parted ways, Danja's sound was lacking. Timbaland still went on to produce Justin's 20/20 Experience and key songs from Beyonce's self titled 2013 album.
