The last thing I remember was giving a woman $20. She kept begging everyone in the store and I didn’t want her to go out like that. Here girl, take this money. She was appreciative.

same.

I usually don’t quote the Bible but:

“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.

:wow:
Just do it in private and tell no one, not even your spouse

Even the Bible condemn Virtue Signaling. Yet, folks on social media
Do it all the time.

I don't recall my deeds for appraisal, but to reflect on what kind of person I am and how I interact with people I meet. There are people you shouldn't take for granted.

I saved a whole white baby!

I probably told this here before
:pachaha:

Picked my kids up from school and stopped by the library, they had some books to take back. We pull up, they go in while I wait out front. Now this library has automatic doors that open when you walk up and I notice them in my mirrors any time they do open. As people are coming and going I see the doors open but I don't see anyone come out. I do a double take
:whoo:
and I see a little azz white baby come walking out, barely 1 year old. So, now I'm watching and waiting for someone to come out and get this kid but ..... nope.
:ohhh:
Now I see this baby walking towards my truck ..... I'm like, "duhfuq?!"
:dahell:

Now the baby so close I can't see little dude in my mirrors so, I hop out like "aye little dude, where yo momma?!" Baby walks right up to me with his arms out looking to get picked up ..... at 1st I'm like
:whoa:

Then I thought if something happened to the baby, some how I would end up in the middle of it.
:lupe:
So, I grabs the baby and walk in side and nobody notices me standing there with this white baby
:mindblown::lawd:

So I hold this white baby up in the middle of the library and shout, "AYE YOOO, WHO LOST THEIR BABY?!"

From my left a white lady comes running out the stacks like
:merchant:
And from my right a white dude with two kids running behind him comes running out
:bryan:
The lady is super happy and and dude acting like it's no big deal talking, "he just walked over here ........
:smugbiden:
I'm like "Nah buddy, little dude was all the way outside heading towards the street!"
:umad:
The chick was super apologetic and thankful .... she even hugged me like
:noah:
I'm looking at dude like
:jawalrus:
She turns to him and starts giving him the business
:pacspit:
He like
:snoop:
I walks away like
:obama:
My daughter comes up laughing like "dad, you saved a baby?!"
:gladbron:
Yup
:cape:
My son didn't care
:russell:

Saw a woman in the train station with her daughters, trying to sell their toys a few days after Christmas.

I gave her a 20 then sped off.

Gave a guy broke down on the side of the road a ride back to his house.

Changed a ladies flat tire in a parking garage.

That back in VA, now in the Midwest I'd probably just keep it moving.

This lady at the grocery store apparently didn't have enough money on her debit card so I ended paying for her stuff (it was about $30).

Bought fast food for homeless people a few times.

In my NOI days, we used to go feed the homeless and give healthy lunches to the kids in the projects on Saturday afternoons. We would wake up early as hell on Saturday, make the turkey sandwiches, pack the the bags with fruits, chips and juices.
