Yes, there are other high-risk jobs, like crab fisherman, highway paving dude, fireman, army dude, and they too are making the sacrifice of taking on a dangerous job compared to a non-dangerous job. Too true, it's a level of propaganda at work to keep people in order, only morons can't see it. The police are being deified to keep people in line, anyone who questions their "sacrifice" is jumped on. There are far more dangerous jobs that don't get the same level of reverence, hell garbage men are more likely to die on the job than cops.

I was just in jail last week for violating probation and the cop in there helped me get in contact with my PO and I was out in 2 days. So yea hard for me to say fukk 12 and rejoice deaths.

The crappy schedule they have early on in they're careers



Working nights, weekends, Holidays, not having a social life, missing your kids Birthdays, Thanksgiving dinner etc.

Them dudes also have a high divorce rate.


With that being said, several job fields have the same downsides. And they only have to work 20 years, don't have to worry about layoffs and get a pension which makes it more appealing than most office jobs, despite the crappy schedule early on.

Actually, he does have to help you, it's his job

Just because others haven't doesn't make it right, that is the point of the thread. It isn't "sacrifice" to get paid to do something you're supposed to do.
