It's definitely nick Anderson. If he makes just one of them, orlando takes game 1 and maintains their confidence going into game 2. Instead it crushed them and shyt snowballed into a sweep. All the others have lots of variables to point to whether it's all the players on the court or blown calls by the refs. This one is a good foul shooter missing 4 of them in the final seconds with his team hanging onto a 3 point lead. My second choice would be Charles smith. Ask any Knicks fan over 40 about that one :lolbron:. Play that sequence in a crowded Manhattan bar on loop and a fight will start within minutes.

I wanna say Golden State blowing a 3-1 lead, but as a kid, I was emotionally invested HEAVY in that Knicks team.

Charles Smith should rot in hell.
(That's excessive. I'm sure Smith is a great guy. But come on man...)

:whew:

Dodged that John Starks performance...or do you mean a more recent performance in where the announcers were comparing that performance to the John Starks performance?

Also this thread has a bunch of issues, but I will let y'all cook :hubie:
Add this one OP and I may have to change my vote

The Knicks would have won that series if they pulled that game out :mjcry:

That was the ONLY team in the entire run of the Bulls that had that kind of opportunity.

We should probably split this thread into two threads, one for team chokes and another for player chokes. Portland's fourth quarter in game 6 of the 1992 finals is high on the list, OP also left out Karl Malone missed two free throws at the end of game 1 of the 1997 finals with the score tied at 82, air balls against the jazz, Shaq going 9-20 at the line in that same loss by just 4, Dirk missing every shot he took in the fourth quarter of game 6 in the 2006 finals, the lakers blowing a 23 point second half lead in game 4 of the 2008 finals, Oklahoma City blowing a 15 point fourth quarter lead in game 5 of the 2011 western conference finals, Chicago blowing a 77-65 lead in game 5 against Miami with under 4 minutes left in game 5 of the eastern conference finals in 2011. I don't think we can put that many options in a poll, can we?
