It's the 'I luh Gah/you oan luh Gah/whuh's wron' wih you?' of R&B. There's a certain type of audience for that.

The people who listen to those lyrics and are ready to get down are the same people who made Plies a platinum star. That's that Floridian frankness (sup Khia). Nobody does vulgar like Floridians. Which Florida nikka (or brehette) ghostwrote that shyt?

Nah, he wrote it. I remember seeing an interview of him sitting at a piano, talking about making a record for a "different kind of crowd" or something like that, then he busted the song out.

Exactly. Different kind of crowd.. but it's so different and outside of what he normally writes lyrically. It's too different. The only thing that matches is the piano work.

Some mobster/thug/rich Jew trust fund baby who made his agent an offer Brian couldn't refuse, that's probably who. I refuse to believe he had anything to do with the lyrics.

Ok, that makes more sense. Which cac came up with the idea?

:wtf: that's a classic

Anyways even though hes a legend I find most of r Kelly's post 2000 work cringe worthy.
I hate that song breh. When I was younger I mean mugged the screen when that song came on. I like the chocolate factory/loveland album. When did TP2 drop? That was his last best album to me.

That was 2000. Chocolate Factory in 2002 and Love Letter in 2010 were the only other two that weren't shytty overall.

Yea those 2 were his last great albums. I didn't get a chance to hear that Love Letter album. I know its some sort of throwback to the motown era. Ima check it out. I didn't mind him rappin at times I thought it wasn't bad. But when he oded on them trapped in the closets and auto tuned it up I was like :scust: kellz. That TP3 album was horrible. I think that's the album that started the trash wave.
