What Is The Worst Medication You've Ever Taken?

I was prescribed Prednisone (steroid) 20mg for 5 days. I got to researching online about it because I'm not a fan of medication. The fukking side effects of this shyt is 10x worse than what I'm taking it for. Supposedly when you take a synthetic steroid for an extended period, your body's natural production of steroids shuts down. I took 2 doses, one yesterday and one today and I'm not taking no more. I'll be damned if I get sick off some meds. The doctors just be handin out these fukkin prescriptions not given a fukk what happens to you. This got me thinkin, whats the worst medication y'all ever took?

The worst shyt I took before was omeprazole which was for acid reflux. This shyt made me feel TERRIBLE. My stomach was in knots and I nausea for hours. I'd rather get heart burn from 20 steaks than take that shyt again. I be ready to the docs and pharmacists for the slick shyt they pull.

I've taken that several times before and never had a problem. I guess it affects us all differently. Flexiril though

Prednisone is the worst, it saved my life a couple of times but the side effects are terrible




Joint swelling, headaches, and you get the munchies like a nikka ain't ate in weeks


I gained 20-25 pounds in a month being on that shyt

The doc gave me Advair about 15 years ago when it first came out. That shyt had my heart racing like it was about to pop out my chest. That made it beat faster cuz I started getting scared. I threw that shyt in the trash after that.

Muscle relaxers. I ended up taking a different kind a few years later and it didn't have the same impact but the first time I was disoriented in a way I haven't been before or since then. I was very close to passing out.

I also had an allergic reaction to St. John's wort. I kept it in possibly too warm of a place or maybe it was too old a bottle (stopped taking it the first time because it gave me heart palpitations) and I took it and had some type of allergic reaction that made my throat start to close up but not completely, thankfully. I rode it out and didn't go to the hospital.
