Looking back were there any clear signs you missed due to being blinded by love?

There were a few but she was always talking about how much she loved me and couldn’t stand the thought of us not being together and blah blah. She had a LOT of emotional/mental issues due to suffering abuse as a kid and I was trying to be captain save a hoe. I was only 21 but at that age I thought I was a grown ass man and all that.


It was a good wakeup call for me though. It taught me NOT to date women I work with because that shyt kinda got a little bit messy at the job (more for her than me)

i trained/transferred my work responsibilities to my clueless laterally promoted (cac female) manager before i left for vacation.

then once i came back she said she got the hang of it now, and essentially stole my entire job role which was layoff proof.

she also apparently asked our director while i was gone (who looked out and told me this when i returned)

my accounting responsibilities have now moved over for an entity that’s about to get sold off.

her own entity that she was responsible for journaling for prior is also about to get sold off so she obviously saw my absence as an opportunity to finesse me out of my job

I was a fresh 18 year old working fast food job my girl doing the same thing across town. He had a kinda routine of getting off late from work and meet up to see each other just to see each other for the night.

Manager asked me to open in the morning WHILE I was working the closing shift. That would give me like 5-6 hours of sleep. So girlfriend hits me up to meet up after work but I told her I gotta open so I need to sleep. She is not understanding because well it’s not her problem. I was firm with the no. “If you won’t see me then we are done. You obviously don’t care about me or this relationship” typical young female shyt. I went home and slept I didn’t trip I’m sure she is gonna call me tomorrow to tell me she tripping.

Next 2 days she ignoring me. I’m like damn she dumped a nikka for trying to be responsible. Well next day she hit me up sounding oh so remorseful. Said she’ll give me a ride to work so we can talk. We in the car she park in the front and tells me…….damn that shyt hit me like deer in the headlights brehs

She told me she was so mad that I wouldn’t see her. So she hung out with her manger and her boyfriend at their place. Fussing about me mixed with alcohol lead to eating p*ssy while getting beat from the back. All because I wanted to sleep. I played it cool like oh okay well let me head inside we can talk later. Went to the bathroom and cried like a baby for a good 5 mins. I smashed again but never made my girl again.

Older brother got killed early last year. Heinous shyt - they sent a picture of him laid out on the block to all the people he'd been talking to in his phone. Ol girl ended it day I found out on some 'you snapped at me on the phone' type shyt. My last conversation with brodie was getting him to promise to fly out when I proposed to her

I feel that the women who are super clingy or always demanding of your presence are more likely to do this kind of shyt tho. It's always the end of the world when you can't meet their demands and that's when they pull some snake shyt
