The fact Tupac's 1st two albums didn't get any votes shows you how a lot of his fanbase either missed out on those albums or didn't come in until the Death Row era. So his 1st two albums are actually very slept on.

Also even though Makaveli is an amazing album. It's basically Pac's "Life After Death" being the 1st album he released after his death so that's why it will forever be loved.

I think it just show his growth as an artist and emcee. Let face facts, AT FIRST he wasn't the most skilled rapper when it came to the technical aspects of rhyming, but he steadily improved and, more importantly wa able to move people with relatively simple shyt. He is similar to Prodigy in that regard.

At the end of the day - I got no beef with anyone saying he has the greatest catalog or is simply the GOAT.

18 Years my G. Wow. Legendary. Iconic. Touched Your Soul. But to me, "Me Against The World" remains Tupac's Magnum Opus even though "All Eyez On Me" and "Makaveli" sold more and are more popular.

AEOM MATW and Makaveli are all classic albums. Hard to believe that this guy was in his early to mid 20's releasing this kind of music. Pac always seemed much older then he was. He was only like 22 or 23 when the bulk of MATW was released. Just compare him at the age of 23 to other rappers in this generation who are the same age. With that said ima go with AEOM as his best album.

I agreed he showed tremendous growth as he went along from album to album but I feel like a lot of the fanbase hasn't been schooled to Pac's earlier more political work outside of the singles. Sadly the Controversial Pac is the most popular one. People act like "2apcolypse Now" and "Strictly 4 My N!ggas" weren't good albums.

Man I can't believe it was actually a MIXTAPE. Pac had this weird ability to make Classic albums in a short amount of time.
