Most dudes I've met don't like sci-fi. They'd rather see some action or comedy. Sci-Fi is a niche market unless it's superhero movies.

It's a fine line between sci fi and action flicks..
But yeah, they'll get upset if you refuse to go see divine secrets of the yaya sisterhood, but wont come watch some marvel flick with me..fukk that! I dont play that knight in shining armor game anymore..

Those two are the biggest franchises out of all Sci-Fi. But they also fall into action. Just like Alien, Predator, etc.

Most Sci-Fi falls into either Action or Horror. I was thinking more of the nerdy stuff I grew up with. But that's kinda getting big now with all the nostalgia remakes.

I understand what you are saying,like how Espn is a niche market for sport s fans. the mistake is on my behalf. Alot of times, peolke put themselves in a box pertaining to certain genres of what they will and wont watch. Me, I practically will watch it, if I like it cool. If not, cool. (Remind me to never watch pluto nash btw lol)

I like the old school sci fi, and certain new school stuff as well though. When I have time, I usually just watch the history channel and sci fy type stuff.

My girl plays video games sometimes. More then me actually.

I'm assuming females don't like them cuz females are more like docile. They're not into violent competitions and constant gratification. Same reason you won't see most females playing team sports.

And the girls i've talked to about video games seemed to dislike them because when they think of a "video gamer" they think of like a stereotypical geek. So many nikkas now a days spend all their freetime just twiddling their thumbs in front of the tv. Its what most nikkas are doing now a days. Females don't like that shyt.They wanna see real life accomplishments. Not video game points.

I don't engage with cartoons or video games. I cant appreciate the pace, poor dialogue. Im only talking about childrens cartoons not the simpsons which is animated sitcoms.

i personally couldnt be seriously involved with a woman if she wasn't sort of a gamer nerd that was into weird nerdy sci fi shyt or one that doesnt have atleast an appreciation for art and creativity (video games simply fall into that category if you're into those type of things)
