Growing up in LA, I was(Still am, really..forever) a Laker fan.My earliest basketball memory is the '88 Lakers.I didn't know exactly what was going on, I just remember all the grown ups going nuts whenever the game was on TV.My aunt was and still is a Laker fanatic(She still has an original/Purple Lakers Starter jacket that she bought in '84.Mint condition.I asked her if I could wear it once and she hit me with the

)

Crazy shyt about it, her boyfriend at the time was from Detroit.I remember during the Finals that year (Lakers vs Pistons)I won my first bet ever off dude.He kept telling me the Pistons were going to win, so of course I had to throw out the "How much you wanna bet:wtb:?" line..Came up on 5 bucks.My first chunk of change.shyt was the lil kids version of a stack back then..............'88 Lakers

2nd Team---'93 Suns.Was out in Arizona visiting my grandparents one summer and caught the bug.Of course Barkley & KJ, but my favorite players to watch on that team were Richard Dumas, and Thunder Dan Majerle.Dumas had the potential to be one of the top SF's of the 90's.Dope mid range game, crazy hops(for the times), and he played D.Kinda a more athletic version of Kawhi Leonard.Too bad that crack got him.

And Thunder Dan.He'd get hot and hit like 6 40 footers in a row.All with dramatic build up because he had that quirky set shot form.He'd square up from half court and you thought it was good every time.

3rd team---'04-'05 Phoenix Suns.Had the youngest team in the league and just exploded out of nowhere that year.They had Matrix and 2 players with allstar potential in Joe Johnson & Amare Stoudemire, but they needed to infuse the team with some veteran leadership....Steve Nash.There wasn't a lot of hoopla around that signing.Nash was considered a "middle of the pack" PG and a lot of basketball analyst thought it was a

signing by the Suns.They weren't even picked to make it to the playoffs that year, but Nash brought everything together beautifully nh.He was the perfect PG for D'antoni's "7 seconds or less" offense.The Suns jumped out to a 31-4 record that year.Not to shabby for a team predicted to miss the playoffs.Their run came to an end when they lost to the Spurs in the WCF's that year.Joe Johnson broke his face and killed our chances.

Honorable mention----'94 Nuggets.Hungry young team who slayed the #1 seeded Supersonics.I thought they were the team of the future.Laphonso Ellis, Robert Pack, Rodney Rogers, and Bryan Stith--I thought they were going to become a major factor in the league.Can't remember what happened, but most of them dudes became journeyman.For that one year, though...they shined

'94-'95 Magic are in my top 5, to.One of the best starting 5's of all time.

Crispness
Lakers during the Sedale Threatt/Divac/A.C. Green/Flabby-and-sick Worthy era...right before the Nick Van Exel days.

moved around alot as a kid so i didnt really have a hometown team. i loved the late 80's/early 90s Pistons, first team i ever rooted for + i had their gear & posters on my wall. alot of personalities on that team + they had the underdog factor when the Bulls made their run.

also liked that Orlando team, but it wasn't cause of Shaq or Penny. Nick Anderson was my fav. player around that time

2009 Lakers. Kobe. Pau. Odom. Bynum. Ariza. I know they won again the next year, but I liked them with Ariza instead of Artest. The chemistry just seemed better.

2013 Heat. They seem like they were having fun while winning.

The Nash and Stoudemire Suns. They didn't win shyt, but they sure were entertaining.
