Titanfall's the smoothest, fun(est) experinece I've had in a shooter since Battlefield 1 in terms of action and accomplishment. The way they botched Titanfall 2's release and then altered the gameplay to birth Apex took away from the amount of people that still play it, but that leaves the more dedicated folk to populate the lists and generally play the modes in the way they should be played, not for personal stats.

Sunset would be my choice if Titanfall weren't on the list.

That’s true too. Apex really did take a lot of air out of Titanfall 2’s potential. Crazy because the game on its own is incredible. Looking at the success of Warzone, it’s a shame they didn’t roll Apex into Titanfall 2 as a playlist instead of a completely separate game.

While that would have seemed like the most logical thing to do given the fact that they both use the same engine and feature character with powers/attributes that they've added personality to in Apex, Apex needed to be it's own thing for it to reach the heights that it did, 'cause folk were straight up avoiding Titanfall like the plague to the point they had it going for like under $20 within it's first year of release.

The amount of folk that took to checking out Apex off the strength of it being a "Battle Royale" not knowing that it was birthed from Titanfall and falling in love with the smooth, fast paced and insanely helpful controls and tight gunplay was insane. Had it been introduced through Titanfall the way COD did Warzone......I doubt it would have gotten the attention it did, especially since people weren't buying Titanfall in the first place.

I'm glad some folk are checking out Titanfall now, though, like my Brother who's not a fan of Battle Royales but love this engine. I also hope Titanfall makes an apperance in the upcoming gen....'cause it's a damned good fukking game.
