wouldn’t say it’s my favorite but I heard this song in a meme and couldn’t get that guitar out of my head…ended up finding out what the song is and been playing it ever since…kinda skirting the lines here…I’ve heard it loosely described as gothic rock (it’s more so cold wave) so I’ll sneak it in the discussion

most of the shyt I’m familiar with comes from watching MTV in the mid-90s…prior to that I ignorantly dismissed a lot of rock music as “white boy” shyt (until I learned it was actually black music) …I eventually went back and started listening to older shyt as well…I don’t think I’ve listened to anything new in rock in years tho

Don’t get me wrong I have no issue with the genre, and have listened to it. I’ve just never invested any time into it. I did have a former coworker who loved classic rock and would constantly play it on work trips…Definitely something I can vibe to.
