Aegis's last words to the MC while he dies and the song coming on right after is easily one of the best songs I've heard in gaming.

This might be the GOAT town music in a RPG.

From my favorite Final Fantasy game and one that broke my damn heart. Everytime I hear this song and see the ending of the game I cry

Should have used this version in the English release remaster.
Game still has quite possibly the best JRPG ending ever if you ignore the sequel.
