It doesn't matter if its online or physical. Everything needs to be installed to the disk these days.
I am not liking what I am hearing with the space though...I am not dealing with storage issues like I've dealt with the Vita since launch. I might have to opt for a 1-2TB Hybrid drive in the meantime.

I'm not concerned... The thing about the disk needing to be used after being installed has been stupid though.
But I like doing everything digitally too now. Plus, the X1 let's you use external storage anyway

750 left on my X1 I got external hd hooked up to it but if I get rid of the games I uninstall them no point of keeping them there on a sidenote I heard that Sony will/has begun letting you download and install games a few days before they come out that way when the game drops you don't have to wait just insert the disc and go on about your business..... Microsoft relax and take notes!
