What is your motivation in life?

I'm at point in my life where I feel like I'm doing certain things out of desperation for a come up instead of having a true motive.

I'm seriously envious of people who wake up and do things that make them truly happy.

There isn't a universal answer out there breh you have to find your own path based on some combination of what you listed

But you missed some things... money/sex/power/fame are self-oriented desires... but there are "outwards facing" things you can focus on instead. Family and social stuff can keep you very engaged... some people care about art... some are really into literature, or politics... some people are really into food... you know there's dudes out there who are never happier than when they're fixing a car engine, some people you can put on a surf board and they're in bliss... so you missed out social stuff, aesthetic stuff and general interests and pursuits.
