ive heard about this term because it’s a course being offered at my company, called “covering talent” and it’s about all the ways people cover in the workplace from wearing a mustache to look more masculine, to an LGBT person overcompensating by acting over masculine or a woman wearing her hair a certain way to fit in, etc.

But i have to lookout for people underneath me. but i had to check one of my employee's a few months back. Our IT guy was in the office and she started touching his hair. I was like , but didn't say anything at the time. Figured he'd handle it himself. But he just smiled and went along with it.
Later on he comes into my office like you see that woman touch my hair? I was like yeah i'll talk to her about it. Told her in a non aggressive way. hey it's not cool to touch peoples hair in the office. Her response?: I would've touched your hair instead but you keep it so short all the time.
