ATL…overly
Breh if Noah is your best player, you're fukked.
If Rose can't stay healthy this year, Bulls might as well blow it up, I can't see Noah staying after 2016 if Rose gets hurt again.

Noah isn't their best player and I'm not saying that he is. But breh has heart & is a natural leader, something the Mute isn't & won't be...just not in his nature/character to lead people. And that's not a shot at Mute, he's naturally gifted to be a scorer (if he's healthy). My point is that Noah is the leader of that team and should be seen as such

Noah has natural leadership skills... I wonder what he's gonna get into after the NBA because he could really use his influence to do some amazing things in life depending on what he wants to do...

Can we do something else besides bounce a ball? :snoop: Derrick needs to lose the street persona and get more into his lines for his 2 seconds of community service to his own fukkING NEIGHBORHOOD :mindblown:....Say it with the right CADENCE d- :beli:......:salute: to Noah. Got all the sistas in the 'Raq thinking about a "good-hurred" baby ehh time he grace them with his precense. :mjpls:

Just to add on to this thread - cool of Patrick Beverly & Drose to be helping out too

Noah's Arc finale gives peace a chance

Around the same time funeral services were being held for 11-year-old Shamiya Adams, Bulls center Joakim Noah was busy across town at the United Center working to try to curb the violence in Chicago.

Through his Noah's Arc Foundation, the All-Star center recently has devoted his time to encouraging peace in the city. On Friday he unveiled a public service announcement asking Chicagoans to stand up to gun violence. Saturday Bulls point guard Derrick Rose and Rockets guard Patrick Beverley, a Chicago native, joined him for the finale of Noah's ONE CITY Basketball Tournament.

The championship game saw the South Side, coached by Rose, defeat Beverley's West Side team.

"We started doing the peace tournaments a couple of years ago," Noah said. "A lot of people didn't think it was possible to bring people from different parts of the city together. This is more than a basketball game."

The decision to team up with Noah for the event didn't require much thought from Beverley.

"I was in town working out when I heard about this," Beverley said. "It's about the bigger picture of violence in Chicago. I couldn't say no to that. We have to set a good example."

With Noah emceeing on the court, the United Center provided the fans and players in attendance with an example of what hard work and staying away from violence provided for guys like Rose and Beverley.

Just before tipoff Noah gave everyone in attendance another reminder of what they were playing for by offering a moment of silence.

That reminder might not have been needed. The signs were everywhere around the United Center, including fans in the stands with "R.I.P. Shamiya" shirts.

"This Peace Tournament at the United Center is very, very special to me," Noah said. "Sports are something that unites people. To be able to do that where we play and compete every day is special."
