If these so called white hip hop purists were as big a crowd as you claim, more of that type of rap/hip hop would be in the forefront since they're the demographic going to shows and buying records

I never said they dictate the music what comes out. I said they consume. Thats two different arguments. One thing about whites, they like more variety and not so in the box as blacks when it comes to music...especially today. You mentioned Flo-rida.
