I volunteer with a black men's organization doing community cleanups, mentoring, and tutoring.

Previously volunteered at our city college tutoring a program for low income black men.

Used to coach track and cross country. I did get paid a very very modest stipend.

Shout out to everyone in the thread doing good work.

I have as of today over 120 hours of clinical volunteering between two hospitals. I've done this off & on since I was a junior in HS.

I've been a mentor in the BBBS program since I graduated HS.

Not really a volunteer activity because I was paid, but I worked at a local Boys & Girls club the summer before my Freshman year at uni.

I volunteer at a free clinic at back at home that mainly serves the underprivileged every summer.

Helped out with Habitat for Humanity for a little over a month.

Tutored middle school-aged, inner city kids in English & Geometry back in HS.

Over the last three years, I've worked in a soup kitchen during Thanksgiving serving the homeless downtown. I won't make it this year, however.

Love kids, so I'm easily the most passionate about anything concerning them. At one point I planned to volunteer abroad, but I decided against it. :patrice:

Even though my professional aspirations haven't panned out, brother still tries to give back:

- Volunteer for a Alzheimer's charity
- Help low- to middle- income families with their taxes for free during tax season
- Always walk and try to contribute financially to the Diabetes Walk

Put my "problems" into perspective.
