What made TLR so soft in 2018?

People are always crying about the "good old days" of TLR. If the old stories, jokes, fukkery, and monthly exposals were to return, there would be posters here crying up a storm.There's no way half the coli GOATS would have been able to post here without having people in their feelings 24/7.

• We got random nobodies on twitter going on about "Gambino said he likes Black AND White girls. How dare he! He never talked down on Black women but who knows whats going on in his head " and people having 30 page threads going back and forth talking like they know his life story and are making all sorts of wild assumptions just to argue/get offended by them.

• We have 30 page threads of people getting all over black nerds because some random noname black nerd pulled someone else's card over not knowing some niche nerdy shyt and got everyone chiming in that any niche activity must be because those uppity people are doing it.

• We got got 50 page threads on some jokes in a book from several years ago where we got people going "How could Issa Rae say that" even though she obviously didn't come up with them since those jokes are wayyy older than the book and were used by more ppl than her

• I read a fukking " for 2 million dollar would you" thread here and there was a poster who caught feelings going on about "oh this thread must be on that " even though the thread only mentioned if you could live in a forest by yourself and had nothing to do with any race of people.

Now I get why Seinfeld and other comedians said people are too soft for their comedy routines. At first I thought it was because they wanted free reign to be reckless but honestly I can see it now.

What caused this? I think it was removing all of the LSA plants. They were a necessary evil and when they were here, posters had way more thick skin.
