What do you consider culturally black then?

Black is also a synonym for african american. As a kid I was told I’m not black because my parents are from the islands.

Confusing at first, but then I eventually understood. It gave me the sense that black ppl in America do have a sense of identity outside of white america trying their hardest to water it down.

I don’t think anything can truly take away your blackness, but most countries kill over treason for a reason

Racism has dummies believing you needed to be raised in poverty and remain uneducated to be authentically "black"

On the other side of that coin, a desire to conform to the culture of academia is a sign of probable abandonment, or a desire to control nikkas with the same hand that oppressed them.

Being culturally black means being in tune with the black masses in this country, either being raised in a majority black community or raised around whites but still having blackness instilled by parents and visiting black communities.

These blavity blacks on the internet and academia grew up around white people and get all of their views about blacks from hollywood, hip hop and white people perception of the black community.

I don't get caught up with the crayon box mentality. I use black, white etc colloquially. But the color coding system made by europeans is trash. I prefer to look at nationalities, lineage, and ethnicities as identifiers. But to answer the question whatever is on your government documents by the state is what your are as far as colors go tbh.
