If i'm a coach/GM and i have to pick between the two the only thing that makes me like Melos game more than Durants is Melos low post game. His post game is better than Durants (and Lebron's for now)

Outside of that I'll pick Durant every time

1. Younger
2. Faster
3. More athletic
4. Just as good if not better shooter
5. Just as good a rebounder
6. Can play within most systems whereas I cant see Melo playing in a fast pace team anymore

The one thing that makes me uncomfortable with Durant is his physique. Linky skinny dudes like him can be prone to injury

ni99as need to stop putting melo up as the leader. If u was to make parallels. Melo would be the lead technician in a company. But not the boss. Melo is a technician not a boss.

I get annoyed for 2 reasons. :

1: Melo's effort be lax a lot of times, it's clear that he just doesn't have a great motor.

2: When he is aggressive it doesn't matter because the refs don't call many of the muggings he takes.


Watching the games recently. Even though he gets his points, It seems like he is not in the flow of the offense and playing a notch lower in speed compared to everyone else, and breaks up the currency.

Given his motor , Only thing I really see him doing is getting some more boards and taking better shots.

If he could get his FG% into high 40s . Get a board or two more a game it would go far.
