Had a long run and is still seeing success today. There are other great producers but only a handful manage to have so many hits without burning out over such a long period. He even managed to slide into fashion and not falter. He is a prolific creator of things that people fukk with and has been for about 15 years. That's not very common.

As much as I can't stand what he's become. His run from say 2001-2010 was as good as any producers out there and even as an artist the man has 2 or 3 classic albums depending on who you ask. He has transitioned pretty successfully into the fashion world. The man is a creative genius even though he hasn't done anything brilliant musically in almost a decade.

And on top of that, didn't just make great beats, but he also made great songs, his stage shows, his overall direction as an artist... the way he did a lot to bridge the gap between the Rawkus crowd and the Roc A Fella crowd during the early-00s, which were definitely two different camps during that era... definitely affected the way many people made music, dropping during a time when you had to have a certain look/sound/image, he kinda went against those ideas. He's definitely one of the most creative guys to come along.
