Can I ask what makes someone else interesting to yall?

Will Smith before Jada was the ideal for me and by that I mean he seemed to have this smart/funny/laid back personality mix that I love. The people closest to me are like this and that's what drew me to them. I try to be like this myself but I can lean more towards straight up goofiness at times because I play too much lol.

to me "interesting" is more about YOU as a person. your hobbies, your interests, your intelligence, the way you talk, hold a conversation, the shyt that makes YOU tick

People who know themselves and live who they claim to be-not for anyone else but for them.

People who are curious, huge draw towards talented people who have a lot of interests/passions without assigning any particular moral value or credit to themselves because of it (lol). Doesn’t have to be what I happen to like or find interesting.

People who are really good at what they do, usually on the creative arts side. Great writers especially.

People with an excellent command of memory or who can retain info at first skim.

Interesting isnt always a good thing to me, but I wrote about the positive.

From what people tell me:

1. I’m funny…even if my jokes aren’t funny I still make you laugh because I laugh so hard at them.

2. I like to make/restore/recreate things, like my husband loves that I recreate paintings that I like. He watches me the whole time I do it.

3. I look amazing and I’m tall af with big hair so it makes people stare.

4. I’m a nurse, everyone wants to hear my ER stories. It’s always “what’s the worst thing you’ve seen”.

5. I decorate my house for everything I consider a holiday even Valentine’s Day. People always want to know what I’m going to do next.

6. I’m a good source for scary movies and shows.

I feel you but to me, you can tell a LOT about a person and their unique personality through their sense of humor (or lack thereof). That's what makes them so interesting to me. I think about how smart and funny a rapper like Biggie was...when Faith cheated and then was pregnant shortly thereafter, he said she'd probably have twins... "two pacs/Tupac"



To be able to make fun of a not-so-funny situation is highly intriguing to me. And even with boring everyday situations, the people who find humor in that like Larry David and JB Smoove. Or Katt Williams when he turned a simple Rick Ross intro into how people in various lines of work can be "hustling" lol. Their perspective on "boring" or everyday things and work is hilarious!



And also people like Dave Chappelle who you can tell through his comedy and truth-telling has a very high intellect and insight into the reality behind racial politics.

The smart/funny mix is highly magnetic for me personally. Those are the people I always gravitate towards and I try to be that way myself. How you incorporate humor into your everyday life is extremely interesting to me and can tell me a lot about your unique personality.
