This year, Lion King, Frozen, and Star Wars have the best shot.
In the future? Who can say? I suppose the Avatar sequels, but it's been so long since the first one idk if people are still interested.
Endgame would need to do an insane amount of repeat business and somehow attract a large audience of people who aren't already bought in on the whole MCU thing to touch Avatar and it would need to do so in a fifth of Avatar's theater run. It's not impossible, but HIGHLY unlikely.

Runtime plus Endgame has far more competition than Avatar did. Just two weeks after it comes out it has to contend with Detective Pikachu and John Wick. Then Aladdin and Godzilla. Plus I doubt it's going to have the insane 40 week run in theaters Avatar had since Disney is going to want to focus on their other big projects.

I think star wars out does Frozen 2. Frozen imo wont match part 1, that one had some huge songs. Not sure if the sequel can match it and they done played that shyt out, my daughter's don't even like anymore.
I hope I'm right because I'm sick of frozen.

Quality wise yea i dont think it's gonna beat Frozen either. But money wise sequels usually make more then first if the first was a hit so im just going with logic.
But i do admit having another "Let it go" is probably the biggest obstacle here. The singer of that song is probably scared to death right now lol.With that said the last star wars left a bad taste in alot of fans mouth. Thats gonna carry over into this year.

Frozen yeah I can see it outdoing the original but it shouldn't since those characters and story lines should go nowhere.
