I would start with black soap, witch hazel, Freeman’s charcoal exfoliating mask, and Aveeno moisturizer.

-Wash w/ black soap morning/night/after workouts
-Put the toner on a cotton pad and rub good all over ur face
-use the exfoliater like 2x week, when ever you can fit it in
-moisturizer at the end every time

Imma try this:ehh:

I've been using aveeno skin brightening cream and Vitamin E oil to treat my dark spots. Is that the way or should I use something else?

Exfoliate!! It will help remove the old dark skin over time. It’s other skin products you can use for brightening dark spots but you have to be careful because you don’t want to use something that will breakout your skin and create new dark spots in the process.

How’s the aveeno/vitamin e combo working for you?

It's been working well so far. It's been a week since I started and I can tell a difference. I used to use ambi fade cream but I ran out so I figured I might as well go a more natural route. Didn’t want to depend on a bleaching agent

I use Cetaphil cleanser and retinol men's moisturizer in my routine too

Keep it up! You need to give it at least a month before you start adding new shyt to your routine.

Best key to skin care is consistency and keep drinking water!

Eat better food, drink more water, wash/scrub your skin with better soap, cocoa/shea butter as needed.

95% of the extras is only for repairing damage you've done and not meant for long term use, or just outright consumer garbage to keep you in a spending loop.

Do i need tp dilute that tree oil? 'Cause that shyt aint no joke on your skin

you should, but I ain’t gon lie. I just put a lil on a q-tip and use it straight up on my pimples. Just a very small dap, cuz I be trying to get rid of my breakouts ASAP.

Hate to sound ignorant..but is toner make up? Cause if so as a man I'll pass.

I exfoliate, wash my face twice a day, moisturize, use anit.aging cream and used sunscreen (my black dermatologist told my silly ass black will crack when I told her why I dont).

....but toner is makeup right? :patrice:

Lol. No toner is just a liquid that helps to additionally clean ur face and reset ur PH balance after stripping it by washing ur face.

Never had acne or any skin problems aside from some black spots here and there. I just use some lotion in the summer and Vaseline in the winter.

I use basic soap to wash my face but not too much because that shyt will irritate your skin :yeshrug:

I was one of the lucky ones, I know some nikkas that went through it bad and tried all that black soap/noxema bullshyt, that shyt will fukk you up bad if you use it too much. I know a girl who got scars on her face because her mother cleaned her skin with some bullshyt, beautiful girl too but her face is fukked now
