Breh they say that cac sniper dude who had that movie done about him was down there with his boys shooting at brehs. It’s almost like when the levees broke not only did brehs in NO see the bat signal for murder go up in the air, but folks who was just on some wacked out mercnary shyt came into town cuz they knew NO was basically Purge status for a couple days. I’m sure you’ll see a movie or tv series about it one day. It’s a legit real horror story. I think about 1/3 of the death total was foul play. Easily.
I think I remember that shyt lol. I'm pretty sure the heavy handed stuff came in because the cops were wildin the fukk out and somehow the other gangs in the area were somehow working with some legit weaponry - I know for a fact the national guard/82 guys were getting shot at with some frequency. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it was the same guys.

The numbers gotta be crazy though. 1/3 weather, 1/3 foul play and violence, 1/3 just straight up missing.

Can’t think of his name. The one who got killed by that vet he was helping. The American hustle white boy played him. Can not think of the actor who played him either right now. Smh.

Edit: it’s a podcast by this breh from New Orleans where he talks about that and this hotel that called in some ex navy seals or some shyt to do security on the hotel during Katrina and the shyt is crazy. These dudes was wildin’, folks who broke into the hotel was wilin’. It’s some legit Purge shyt. Just faced some OG so I don’t feel like looking for it but I think the podcast is called Dark Waters or something like that
It was anarchy. Straight up. First thing I saw driving in there was an abandoned, flooded out vet clinic and the animals rotted and floated all around it next to a cemetery where all the graves came up. To this day I still react dumb hard to smells.

Its wild because I know that there were good people out there trying to do the right thing. The problem for so much of it was the lack of communication combined with the dire circumstances. You absolutely could NOT afford to ask questions first and talk things out with people. My group was in that shyt for about 2 weeks before we stopped in at the Superdome then we just all had to gut check each other and ended up moving to one of the transition points further out. Don't think I slept more than 3 times while I was there.

No wonder there was an Assassin's Creed game that took place in New Orleans and Mafia 3 was inspired by New Orleans.

That place is fukked up!!! Looks like it's holding the crown.

What’s the deal with New Orleans? Elaborate

Idk if that other dude responded but there was a thread on here not too long ago about cities that gave you a bad feeling when you visited and a lot of people responded with New Orleans, myself included. It's a fun city but it's bad vibes all around.

I remember being on the patio of a bar in the French Quarter, smoking and I looked down at the people below and everything felt like a bad dream all of a sudden.

You can go from being drunk in a bar feeling good, talking to people and living it up and walk outside to smoke, piss or go somewhere else and suddenly there's this overwhelming sense of "GET OUT". And I don't mean the movie. I spent the first couple nights of my first trip there hole up in my hotel room ordering food because outside felt like "the bad place". I can't describe it any other way. Once I shook that feeling off I had a good enough time but I was happy as hell to leave and slept for 11hrs once I got home.

My cousin went out there to help. He said he saw a gigantic orb above the superdome one night, like huge.

Allegedly these New Orleans vampire stories are true.
I don't know whether it is true or not that vampires actually exist ( I think more than likely they are just acts of devil worship) but like I told you before you were leaves possesses some of the wickedest evil she you can imagine.

Really? He ever tell you specifics?
A lot of shyt. He says he didn't believe anything was scarier than people til he got to Alaska and he'd been shot at from Fayetteville all the way to Germany.

Prior to the Fourth Kind stuff he used to hike up there a lot. Went fishing one night, halfway dozed off and when he woke up there was this glowing light in the lake he was fishing in. Says he looked up and checked for a full moon reflected off the water and there wasn't shyt in the sky but stars. Noped the fukk out. Grabbed his small pack, broke the tent down, and was up out of there in just a few minutes. About a half mile back the way he came he says his dog came out of nowhere, scared as hell. He didn't even check to look for him because the only thing on his mind was getting back to the nearest trail or town. He said the dog was so scared and panicked he opted to just carry that sad thing until he calmed down :snoop: This is a 100+ lb Rott too.

After that is when he says he started taking all the rumors and stuff seriously. Particularly missing persons and cross cultural references for occult. shyt, he believes without a doubt he's followed today - and with how he breaks things down I'm inclined to believe him. He's not crazy or anything, but he keeps two analog clocks and one digital going no matter what and checks on them periodically. Each one is slightly off from the other and he does it on purpose so that he's always more or less sure things are normal. He swears up and down that 'losing' time is best way to tell if you've been visited. He doesn't even interpret what specifically he's run into as hostile. He's completely normal outside of all this and its not like he ever comes off aggressive or tinfoil either.

I've seen some shyt too so I let him cook :hubie: like I said he ain't weird or anything... and maybe by the time I'm his age I'll be doing the same shyt.
